Hello everyone,

My name is Joseph Johnson. Please call me Joey. I am completely deaf and communicate using ASL, American Sign Language.

I have always been interested in seeing more films done with deaf actors signing and have captions for the hearing audience. I have always been creative and have a vivid imagination.

I have created my own film company: “JOEYWOOD FILMS”.

I look forward to working with some very talented deaf actors. We are coming up with wonderful ideas and will choose the best ones for upcoming independent short films. If you can offer any financial support for creative films in the deaf community it would be appreciated.
